The Federation of Families, Healthy Minds Hillsborough, dba Federation of Families For Children's Mental Health, Hillsborough County Inc. is Tampa Bay's  premier family support organization advocating for mental health equity and parity.  Since, 2001 the organization has been instrumental in advocating for mental health policy throughout the State of Florida.  Situated on the campus of USF for 15 years the organization built a network of program components that helped to train over 180 family advocates that participated in system transformation efforts throughout the Tampa Bay region.  The FOF/HC has managed over $4 million dollars and in-kind support via  Federal, State, local, membership fees and donations.  The organization has operated successful numerous programs such as:

The Faith and Family Uplift Program 2013-2016

Today,  FOFHMH operates as a community partner with various research projects that promote System of Care Philosophy, the Behavioral Healthcare Bill of Rights and Social Justice Agendas  As a community partner and endorsing agency with the Movement for Black Lives, the FOF/HMH takes an active part in Health Care policies that promote Equity and Social justice, Anti-Racism policies and actions
